Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide range of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
During the year 1963, the company began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machinery are engineered and designed for a variety of applications and there are units available to cover all construction needs.
Several models offer really flexible lifting options for companies that are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other models. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are specifically designed to work in tight locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated in close proximity to each other.
